Fellows collaborate with the Office of the Provost on a project aligned with the University’s Strategic Plan to advance institutional goals.

The Program provides leadership and professional development opportunities, including the chance to lead a University-level initiative or project over six months. It proactively addresses the lack of diversity in senior leadership roles in Higher Education.

Program

In 2024, two Provost Fellows were selected as part of the SAGE Athena Swan program of actions to provide a range of targeted opportunities to assist in developing senior academic leadership capability. Each Fellow develops a project proposal in discussion with the Provost and the Selection Panel, in an area of strategic priority for the University. The Provost will be responsible for the final approval of the project. Fellows continue their academic activities (teaching, research and engagement), but are provided with a workload allocation of 0.2 FTE (one day/week) for the duration of the Fellows Program and work closely with the Provost and Associate Provost who provide support and assistance as required. They must have the endorsement of their Line Manager and Head of School or Pro Vice-Chancellor for the work allocation.

Provost Fellows

<mimas-block
        block-name="cards"
        data-segment="dom">

2024

• Associate Professor Ravani Duggan
• Associate Professor Justine Leavy

2023

• Associate Professor Bella Butler
• Associate Professor Katarina Miljkovic

2022

• Professor Crystal Abidin
• Professor Rebecca Walker

2019

• Professor Reena Tiwari
• Professor Helen Hodgson

</mimas-block>

Further information

Further information on the Provost Fellows Program is available from Elizabeth Baca, Program Coordinator, Gender Equity and Inclusion at genderequityandinclusion@curtin.edu.au.

The Provost Fellows Program at Â鶹ֱ²¥ develops the leadership and managerial skills of senior […]

["post-22496","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
