  {"id":22500,"date":"2024-02-29T05:38:00","date_gmt":"2024-02-29T05:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/about\/?page_id=22500"},"modified":"2026-04-02T12:37:20","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T04:37:20","slug":"wattle-women-attaining-leadership-program","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/about\/values-vision-strategy\/diversity-equity\/gender-equity-and-inclusion\/wattle-women-attaining-leadership-program\/","title":{"rendered":"WATTLE (Women ATTaining LEadership) Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The WATTLE (Women ATTaining LEadership) residential program brings together women (cis, trans and gender diverse) identified as potential leaders across the university sector to provide an intensive leadership and networking program that is designed, and run, by academic and professional women in the university sector.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WATTLE was founded by, and continues to be run by, five volunteer women from Swinburne, Griffith, New England and Curtin Universities. Operating since 2018 and now with 16 member universities, WATTLE has an Australia-wide alums network of over 180 senior academic and professional women, comprising DVCs, Deputy PVCs and Directors. I got a lot out of each day and will be promoting this program to more women coming up in leadership at my University.\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe opportunity to connect with like-minded people, and to hear their stories.
