As a destination for progressive thinkers, Curtin focuses on providing globally relevant humanities qualifications that value sustainability and focus on community development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We embrace study that investigates and celebrates digital futures and that understands the crucial relevance of the arts and creative industries. We are also dedicated to flexibility, because we know that everyone has different needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curtin Humanities encompasses three Schools: the School of Design and the Built Environment<\/a>, the School of Education<\/a>, and the School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are the Humanities?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The humanities refer to a range of disciplines that analyse the human experience and the natural world, and that encourage creativity, communication and critical thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n \n\n \n\n \n

Traditionally, the humanities have spanned disciplines relating to the arts, social sciences and languages, but at Curtin, the focus is more widespread.
