I felt that knowing why and how would always help you understand, and if you understood, you could change things. While I didn\u2019t know I wanted to be a scientist at that point, I always enjoyed learning about how the world operated and the underlying forces of nature. It wasn\u2019t until I got to university that I realised I wanted to become a scientist as a career. To this day, I\u2019m still asking how and why! These days I like to ask questions about how crystals form and how additives impact on them.
