Being a research university means that Curtin has various radiation-producing sources and equipment. Ownership and use of these goods are controlled by various pieces of legislation including WA\u2019s Radiation Safety Act.<\/p>\n

Curtin has a Radiation Safety Committee that oversees use of radiation at Curtin. Curtin also has a Radiation Safety Officer to assist with day to day radiation-related operations.<\/p>\n
