Select one of the resources below to find standards available in our collections. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"table-block\" data-segment=\"all\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table><tbody><tr><td><a href=\"https:\/\/link.library.curtin.edu.au\/gw?url=CUR_ALMA61269507910001951\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Intertek Inform<\/a><\/td><td>Australian standards are available on the Intertek Inform platform.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><a href=\"https:\/\/catalogue.curtin.edu.au\/primo-explore\/search?vid=CUR_ALMA&amp;sortby=rank&amp;lang=en_US\">Library catalogue<\/a><\/td><td>Some standards are available through our eBook subscriptions, search the catalogue to find these.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><a href=\"https:\/\/iam.astm.org\/sso\/saml2\/0oa52ccjak9qeWDV74x7\/?fromURI=https:\/\/compass.astm.org\/\">ASTM Compass<\/a><\/td><td>Full-text standards that focus on engineering, metals, petroleum, construction and the environment from the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM).<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><a href=\"https:\/\/go.openathens.net\/redirector\/curtin.edu.au?url=https%3A%2F%2Fieeexplore.ieee.org%2Fbrowse%2Fstandards%2Fcollection%2Fieee\">IEEE Xplore<\/a><\/td><td>The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers database provides full-text access to standards.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><a href=\"https:\/\/link.library.curtin.edu.au\/gw?url=CUR_ALMA61111220770001951\">National Construction Code<\/a><\/td><td>The National Construction Code (NCC) provides Australia\u2019s primary set of requirements for the design and construction of a building in Australia, including plumbing and drainage, and minimum required level for the safety, health, amenity, accessibility and sustainability of certain buildings.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Reading Lists<\/td><td>Access to teaching standards may be available via Reading Lists and\/or Blackboard.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requests for standards for research<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Standards required for research, either by individual Curtin researchers or by research teams, may be purchased if they are not available via existing subscriptions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow the instructions on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/library\/borrowing\/non-curtin-library\/document-delivery\/\">document delivery page<\/a> to request standards. <em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requests for standards for teaching<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Unit Coordinators can request standards to be purchased for teaching by submitting a request for a standard, not available on our current subscriptions, through the <a href=\"https:\/\/recommend.library.curtin.edu.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Recommend an Item<\/a> form. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the request has been actioned the Library will reply with a link that the Unit Coordinator will need to add to a Reading List associated with the relevant unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unit Coordinators add the provided links to a Reading List by creating a manual citation within the Reading List interface. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For help contact<em> <\/em><a href=\"mailto:readinglists@curtin.edu.au\">readinglists@curtin.edu.au<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Â鶹ֱ²¥ Library provides access to a large number of standards.
