We\u2019re ready to welcome you to the Library during Orientation Week \u2013 visit us from 8am, Monday 20 February 2023.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New features include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Plenty of study spaces, including new spaces for groups and individuals and an increase in the number of bookable study spots, many with AV capabilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new main entrance on level 3 near Curtin Connect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A purpose-built <a href=\"https:\/\/makerspace.library.curtin.edu.au\/\">Makerspace<\/a> with high-tech and low-tech tools, equipment and materials which you can use to explore your creativity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A kitchen with hot water and microwaves available. Guild Caf\u00e9 Library will also return to Building 105.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our Reading Room which overlooks the pines of Henderson Court.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A fresh, light-filled library with new artwork and architectural features and refurbished facilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An entire floor dedicated to quiet individual study with a variety of study spaces and desks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Some final touches and works will continue through the first half of this year.
