Some temporary service limitations will be in place to support the required technical work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is affected?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Elements, the <strong>Deposit<\/strong> button will be unavailable for claimed publications. Curtin Staff will not be able to deposit their research into espace for the duration of the upgrade period. This means that no new items can be created in espace until the upgrade is complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is not affected?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Curtin Staff can continue to claim and manage their publications in Elements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Staff profiles and reporting functions within Elements are not affected<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to espace and existing content will remain available<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Timeline<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Thursday 26 February 2026 to Friday 13 March 2026<\/strong> \u2013 Migration period (deposit functionality unavailable)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>From Monday 16 March 2026<\/strong> \u2013 Repository deposit functionality resumes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What you need to do<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the deposit functionality will not be available during the migration, deposits will need to be deferred until the migration is complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional technical complexity may extend the migration period beyond the timeline above.
