{"id":6481,"date":"2026-04-01T04:27:56","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T04:27:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/library\/?p=6481"},"modified":"2026-04-01T05:00:23","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T05:00:23","slug":"introducing-curate-curtins-new-institutional-repository","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/library\/introducing-curate-curtins-new-institutional-repository\/","title":{"rendered":"Introducing CURATE: Curtin\u2019s new Institutional Repository"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Reading time: 1 minute<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The migration of Curtin\u2019s Institutional Repository from DSpace to Figshare has now been completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our commitment to open scholarship remains strong, and we\u2019re pleased to take this opportunity to rebrand the Institutional Repository from <em>espace<\/em> to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/curate.curtin.edu.au\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/curate.curtin.edu.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CURATE<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What\u2019s&nbsp;new<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CURATE<\/strong>&nbsp;is&nbsp;now live and accessible at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.curate.curtin.edu.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.curate.curtin.edu.au<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this time, some features may continue to be adjusted as issues are&nbsp;identified&nbsp;and resolved.&nbsp;If you notice anything unexpected or have questions about your content in&nbsp;CURATE, please contact&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:curate@curtin.edu.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">curate@curtin.edu.au<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first theses&nbsp;from recent HDR graduates are deposited&nbsp;in CURATE&nbsp;and&nbsp;available&nbsp;in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/curate.curtin.edu.au\/Theses\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Thesis collection.<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What\u2019s&nbsp;pending<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is currently a temporary delay to the deposit integration between Elements and CURATE following the migration. Curtin Library is testing and validating this integration as part of post-migration checks to ensure deposits flow correctly and metadata is applied as expected.
