In this article, Prayuj Jodbosia shares his journey transferring from Curtin Mauritius <\/strong>to Curtin Australia. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where it all started: Curtin Mauritius<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Prayuj\u2019s university journey began at Curtin Mauritius, where he enrolled in a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Business Law. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI chose to study at Â鶹ֱ²¥ because it offers the perfect blend of academic excellence and practical experience,\u201d explains Prayuj. \u201cCurtin\u2019s strong industry connections and the success stories of its graduates also stood out to me.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired to elevate his study experience, Prayuj decided to transfer from Curtin Mauritius to Curtin Australia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI chose to transfer to Curtin Australia because I wanted to study at the main Curtin campus! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI know that at Curtin Australia, there are opportunities to connect with industry, access advanced facilities, and engage in a wide range of extracurricular activities.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A seamless and supportive transfer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Studying in another country is the adventure of a lifetime, and support from Curtin staff, agents and scholarships is an important part of the journey.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe transfer process was organised and efficient, from handling paperwork to providing information on accommodation and campus life,\u201d Prayuj says. \u201cThe staff helped me feel prepared and confident.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Prayuj, the Curtin Global Talent Scholarship<\/a> also offered an important source of support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCurtin\u2019s scholarship eased my tuition fees so I could focus more on settling into life in Perth.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With staff and scholarship support, Prayuj felt inspired to maintain his academic performance and embrace the opportunities available at Curtin Australia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What it is like to study at Curtin Australia <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For Prayuj, the combination of theoretical concepts with practice-based learning makes studying at Curtin Australia so rewarding for his future career. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI love that we can learn new concepts and then apply them directly to real-world situations,\u201d he explains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThrough industry-focused learning, case studies and hands-on projects, I am gaining experience that applies directly to professional settings.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat I have enjoyed most about Curtin Australia is the welcoming atmosphere created by the people, lecturers and vibrant campus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere are always events and activities happening, which makes studying here so exciting. I’ve made new friends and truly feel part of the Curtin community.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finding a second home in Perth, Western Australia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

So, what is it actually like to live in Perth, WA? Prayuj says, \u201cLiving here is truly special because of its balance of city life, nature and culture.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere\u2019s always something to do \u2013 like visiting Fremantle, food-hopping in Victoria Park, and roaming Elizabeth Quay. I enjoy catching the ferry to South Perth for a change of scenery, relaxing at Kings Park, or exploring the many beautiful destinations across WA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPerth truly feels like home.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perth is the closest major Australian city to Mauritius, with direct flights making travel quick and convenient. And with Mauritius only four hours behind Perth (three in summer), it\u2019s easy to keep in touch with loved ones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
