In 1987 Masters  produced what became his most famous program, \u2018The Moonlight State,\u2019 which  triggered the Fitzgerald Inquiry into Queensland Police corruption.<\/p>\n<p>He has also compiled a book detailing the making of many of these programs,  Inside Story, which was published in 1991. Masters\u2019 second book, Not for  Publication, also reflects on his work and the trend he observes in television  current affairs toward entertainment at the expense of public service  journalism.<\/p>\n<p>Note to COS\/Editor: Refreshments will be served from 5.15pm in the John  Curtin Gallery, Building 200 and media are asked to RSVP to Monique Billstein on  9266 3353 by Friday 17 October.
