Nursing students from Bali are visiting Australia for the first time as part of an exchange program with Â鶹ֱ²¥.<\/p>\n
The Balinese nursing students from the Sekolah Tinggi IImu Kesehatan (STIKES) School of Nursing will spend three weeks at Curtin\u2019s School of Nursing and Midwifery as part of a program designed to expand students\u2019 awareness of global health and nursing trends.<\/p>\n
Mr Alan Tulloch, Director of International and Professional Education in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, said the group of 10 nursing students arrived on Sunday 13 March.<\/p>\n
“This is the first time the Balinese nurse students have visited us and we are looking forward to working closely with them over the next few weeks,” Mr Tulloch said.<\/p>\n
“They will work alongside Curtin\u2019s nursing students, visiting hospitals and healthcare facilities in WA.<\/p>\n
“Through this experience they will learn about Australia\u2019s approach to healthcare and nursing and gain an insight to student life at Curtin.<\/p>\n
“These collaborative experiences will help to broaden the outlook of the students from both continents, preparing them for nursing in the global context.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
