Â鶹ֱ²¥\u2018s project management degree course recently gained accreditation from the Project Management Institute Global Accreditation Centre for Project Management Education Programs (GAC).\u00a0<\/p>\n
Director of the Project Management program, Associate Professor David Baccarini, said this is a significant achievement for Curtin.<\/p>\n
\u201cNot only does it mean that Curtin\u2019s project management course is of the highest quality, but also it provides a valuable educational resource for the many project managers in Western Australia and elsewhere,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cProject management is a vital skill for the Western Australian economy. It\u2019s the only way that any organisation can achieve its goals.<\/p>\n
\u201cEven Tony Blair said that the skill set required for making the modern state work effectively is through project management.\u201d<\/p>\n
Head of PMI Australasia, Anwar Benjamin said that the PMI-GAC accreditation confirms the scale and quality of Curtin\u2019s University\u2019s project management degree program.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith the accreditation, the degree conforms to a comprehensive international standard, and arms the students with a globally-recognised qualification,\u201d Mr Benjamin said.<\/p>\n
