Curtin Business School and Stanford University have signed a three-year Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), which will enable students to complete the Stanford International Honours Program.<\/p>\n
Under the agreement, Curtin Business School will nominate five to 15 high achieving students each year to take part in the intensive, eight-week honours level program in Stanford, California.<\/p>\n
Curtin Business School Acting Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Nigel de Bussy said the Curtin Business School was one of only 22 education institutions across the world to sign an MOA with Stanford University.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis agreement with Stanford offers Curtin Business School students the opportunity of a lifetime to study abroad for eight weeks at one of the most prestigious universities in the United States,\u201d Professor de Bussy said.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor the inaugural cohort, we have selected seven of Curtin Business School\u2019s brightest students to complete the Stanford International Honours Program.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese students will gain an extraordinary insight into the internationalisation of business education, ensuring they receive a global dimension to their studies at Â鶹ֱ²¥.\u201d<\/p>\n
From June 24, the inaugural cohort will start the Stanford International Honours Program in California.<\/p>\n
Students will be required to study eight units at Stanford University over the eight-week period, as well as taking part in important cultural and extra-curricular activities.<\/p>\n
The Stanford International Honours Program runs from June 24 to August 20.<\/p>\n
