Â鶹ֱ²¥ has been ranked among the world\u2019s top 20 young universities in the 2019 edition of the QS Top 50 Under 50 released today.<\/p>\n
The ranking, which measures the world\u2019s best universities under 50 years of age, positions Â鶹ֱ²¥ at 20th in the world, an improvement on last year\u2019s results.<\/p>\n
Â鶹ֱ²¥ Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry said Curtin continues to establish itself as a leading young university on the world stage.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith campuses in Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai and Mauritius, as well as Western Australia, Curtin is a truly global university and I am delighted the University continues to receive global recognition in prestigious world rankings,\u201d Professor Terry said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis latest result ranks Curtin among the top 20 young universities in the world and as Australia\u2019s fourth-best young university, continuing the University\u2019s upward trajectory on last year\u2019s results.\u201d<\/p>\n
Professor Terry congratulated staff and students for their commitment to excellence in learning and research.<\/p>\n
\u201cEven though Curtin is a young university by global standards, the University continues to prove itself on the world stage by rising in international rankings and this result is a credit to both staff and students,\u201d Professor Terry said.<\/p>\n
The QS Top 50 Under 50 are sourced from the latest QS World University Rankings.<\/p>\n
