  {"id":19933,"date":"2022-08-10T06:20:24","date_gmt":"2022-08-09T22:20:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/media-release\/city-of-cockburn-and-curtin-strengthen-partnership\/"},"modified":"2023-01-05T11:35:20","modified_gmt":"2023-01-05T03:35:20","slug":"city-of-cockburn-and-curtin-strengthen-partnership","status":"publish","type":"media-release","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/media-release\/city-of-cockburn-and-curtin-strengthen-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"City of Cockburn and Curtin strengthen partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The enduring partnership between the City of Cockburn and Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ has been formalised in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) designed to help the local community prosper.<\/p>\n<p>The City and University already have long-standing partnerships at the Cockburn Health and Community Facility, Success and Cockburn ARC, where students combine work and practical placements with study in various health-related fields.<\/p>\n<p>The proposal was endorsed by Cockburn Council on 9 June, and City and University representatives gathered for its official signing on 9 August.<\/p>\n<p>Benefits of the MOU for the City have been immediate, with the launch of a new round of the Curtin Ignition program- an intensive course for aspiring entrepreneurs, academics and corporate innovators.
