Â鶹ֱ²¥ has been recognised as a top performer in the 2024 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects by ShanghaiRanking Consultancy, achieving top 10 status in 20 subjects in Australia, including a national first-place ranking for Earth Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The latest rankings highlight Curtin\u2019s ongoing excellence, with improved performance across 16 subjects and top-tier recognition in key areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Curtin ranked in the top 20 globally for both Business Administration and Mining and Mineral Engineering and secured top 75 placements worldwide in eight subjects including Hospitality and Chemical Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Â鶹ֱ²¥ Vice-Chancellor Professor Harlene Hayne said the strong results reflect Curtin\u2019s commitment to academic excellence and impactful research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curtin recorded significant leaps in some subjects, with Public Health skyrocketing from the 151-200 band to 47th in the world (7th<\/sup> nationally), and Business Administration soaring from the 51-75 band to 18th globally (4th<\/sup> nationally).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Key highlights from the 2024 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n In total, Curtin achieved rankings in 32 of the 55 subjects assessed, with 15 ranked as the best in Western Australia including Education, Public Health, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Global Ranking of Academic Subjects measures the performance of more than 5,000 universities worldwide, spanning disciplines in engineering, life sciences, medical sciences, natural sciences and social sciences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
