So how can you make the most of your first year at Curtin? We asked current Curtin students for their number one tip for surviving their first year at University.<\/p>\n<p><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-63138 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Max.png\" alt=\"A male student smiling\" width=\"104\" height=\"104\" \/><\/em><em>\u201cTry to plan and don\u2019t procrastinate. It can be quite stressful enough to begin a new adventure at University, so you don\u2019t need to stress also about assignments and due dates. Most of the time, any questions you want to have answered can be found on Discussion Board. Also make sure you communicate with your tutors \u2013 they are there to help you.\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Olivia, Human Resource Management and Management<em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-63141 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Hayley.png\" alt=\"A female student smiling\" width=\"105\" height=\"105\" \/><\/em><em>\u201cStart your study early and do your best to stay on top of your workload.\u00a0 It might seem like you\u2019re cruising, but the assignments will eventually stack up!\u00a0 Spreading work over the semester will do wonders for your grades and mental health.\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Hayley, Accounting and Law<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The first year of University is a great time to make new friends, try new things and embrace a whole new world of study.
