  {"id":13787,"date":"2022-12-05T06:23:48","date_gmt":"2022-12-04T22:23:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/oasis-news\/safe-driving-on-campus\/"},"modified":"2022-12-07T11:20:59","modified_gmt":"2022-12-07T03:20:59","slug":"safe-driving-on-campus-2","status":"publish","type":"oasis-news","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/oasis-news\/safe-driving-on-campus-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Safe driving on campus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Did you know that inattention is now one of the leading behavioural causes of death and serious injury on our roads?<\/p>\n<p>A 2018 RAC survey found 80 percent of WA motorists use their phone behind the wheel, despite 90 percent admitting it was dangerous to do so.<\/p>\n<p>A number of recent incidents and near-misses on campus have involved vehicle-pedestrian collisions.
