The University has been advised by the WA Health Department that a Curtin student tested positive to COVID-19 on Saturday 15 January 2022.<\/p>\n
The student was in Curtin Central Library facilities in buildings 103 on Friday 14 January from 12pm – 4pm.\u00a0 Any members of the Curtin community who were in these buildings at this time must get tested immediately and isolate until you receive a negative result, unless directly advised otherwise by the Department of Health.\u00a0 Please also contact covidconcern@curtin.edu.au<\/a> so we can provide you with advice and support.<\/p>\n We have been advised the venues involved can remain open.<\/p>\n This case highlights the importance of following health advice and checking in using the SafeWA or ServicesWA apps.<\/p>\n Anyone in the Curtin community who experiences COVID-19 symptoms should be tested, and remain isolated until they receive a negative result.<\/p>\n All potential or confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Curtin community should be urgently referred to the Safer Community Team on 08 9266 4444.<\/p>\n
