These short self-paced online courses equip learners with technical and transferable skills that are relevant to today\u2019s workplaces.<\/p>\n<p>We are now taking <a href=\"https:\/\/unihub.curtin.edu.au\/students\/index.php?s=surveys&#038;mode=form&#038;tab_key=edit&#038;survey_id=4a442f5c71e221ab796c1e0813d77313&#038;stubid=&#038;ss=&#038;signin_tab=0\">expressions of interest<\/a> from students keen to be among the first to complete the Leadership Essentials micro-credential when it is launched in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Leadership Essentials will equip you with the knowledge to unearth your inner leadership potential, to help drive change and make an impact in your life beyond study.<\/p>\n<p>This is an assessed course, and upon your successful completion, you will receive a Curtin verified micro-credential in leadership that you can showcase to prospective employers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is this credential for?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Leadership Essentials is open and free for all current students irrespective of faculty and future career goals. This course will particularly resonate with undergraduate students that are new to the concepts that underpin the Social Change Model for leadership development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What will you learn?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By completing this credential you will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be equipped with the tools and techniques to understand YOU and how this can reveal your leadership superpowers, vulnerabilities, biases and motivations and potential to enhance your leadership capabilities<\/li>\n<li>Get the opportunity to define what leadership means for you (there are endless views out there!). Stabilising your personal definition of leadership (though understanding that it can change over time) can put you on a strategic path to building the leadership skills and characteristics that are right for you and your aspirations<\/li>\n<li>Understand the shifting and complex world of work and apply key skills and mindsets that can enhance your leadership potential in these challenging circumstances. This includes resilience, growth mindset, collaboration, strategic orientation, embracing diversity and continual and adaptive\u00a0learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Expressions of interest are now open.
