{"id":21167,"date":"2023-03-13T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-03-13T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/?post_type=oasis-news&#038;p=21167"},"modified":"2023-03-08T10:16:12","modified_gmt":"2023-03-08T02:16:12","slug":"get-support-balancing-your-studies-with-elite-sport","status":"publish","type":"oasis-news","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/oasis-news\/get-support-balancing-your-studies-with-elite-sport\/","title":{"rendered":"Get support balancing your studies with elite sport"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Â鶹ֱ²¥ is committed to creating a support program that allows our elite athletes to achieve their ultimate potential both in sport and study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are a student juggling sport and study, we can support you through the Elite Athlete Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Elite Athlete Program may support student athletes through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flexible study, assessment and examination options where appropriate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complimentary Curtin Stadium Gym membership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunity to access the Elite Athlete Grant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identification of contact to provide advice and guidance to athletes on academic planning, course management and timetabling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advocacy within the education environment for Elite Athletes within Â鶹ֱ²¥.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for Elite Athlete Status, students must be representing Australia or a State\/Territory of Australia in a supported and recognised sport.
