Through Curtin’s Accessibility Challenge, you will join fellow students to explore how disability solutions can be a catalyst for innovation, and learn to view disability as an opportunity for creativity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What’s involved?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Challenge aims to foster innovation and creativity by bringing together individuals with intellectual disabilities, disability organisations in Western Australia, and staff and students from Â鶹ֱ²¥. Through these interdisciplinary teams, you will tackle challenges identified by people with intellectual disability, resulting in innovative solutions that promote a more inclusive community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n When is the Challenge?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n One week during the mid-semester break, beginning 8 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Where is the Challenge?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It will take place on the Perth Campus in the School of Design and the Built Environment (Building 418)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Who is eligible?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Eligibility for the program is dependent on your study plan and degree structure. This is a 25 credit point elective unit. The program is open to most undergraduate and postgraduate students from all course backgrounds.
