One of the largest community projects held by CV! is the John Curtin Weekend<\/a>, where students get to explore one of the a regional or remote towns in greater Western Australia on a volunteering trip. If smaller \u2018micro-volunteering\u2019 is more to your style, CV! caters to that too, as well as opportunities in education, eco-volunteering, and on-campus openings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Activities pop up regularly, so be sure to sign-up<\/a> and keep an eye on the events list<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gain recognition through Curtin Extra<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Curtin Extra<\/a> is a program that officially recognises students who have made significant contributions to extracurricular programs during their degree. Campus sports<\/a> are an awesome way to learn a new sport, make friends and maintain a healthy balance between study, exercise and social time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sports competitions are flexible, in that you can register as an individual player<\/a>, sign-up a whole team, or find a team to join<\/a>, so there are opportunities for everyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n If you can\u2019t commit to a weekly game schedule you can hire a court or field<\/a>, play some free tennis<\/a> any Monday to Friday from 6am-5pm or participate in free student programs<\/a>, including Inter-Faculty competitions, a Housing Cup for on-campus students and free-play times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
