If you\u2019re preparing for your first semester at Curtin Perth, make sure you think about your travel logistics so you can make the best choice for you and the environment! Like finding the best mode of transport to get to campus, and then finding where you need to go once you\u2019re here (and which caf\u00e9 you\u2019ll pass on the way to class).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Read on for a helpful starting point in your travel planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting to campus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\"Curtin<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There are many ways to travel to campus. To make sure you get to your first class on time, plan your trip in advance and find the option that is right for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of Semester 1 2026, parking on campus is very limited due to several major construction projects, so we strongly encourage using alternative transport methods.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public transport<\/strong><\/a>: If you are a full-time Curtin student, you are entitled to a Tertiary SmartRider card, giving you concessional fares on Transperth buses, trains and ferries. Transperth buses run from Canning Bridge to Â鶹ֱ²¥ every 5 minutes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curtinlink<\/strong>:<\/a> Launching Monday 9 February 2026, curtinlink is the new free on-demand mini-bus service, offering greater flexibility to anyone travelling to campus from within 5km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No fares. No timetables. No fixed routes. Visit the curtinlink webpage and FAQs<\/a> to learn more about this new service!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cycling<\/strong><\/a>: There are a range of facilities at Curtin to make it easier to cycle to campus. Enjoy secure bike parks, lockers and showers across campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driving<\/strong><\/a>: Curtin utilises an electronic pay-as-you-go parking system called CellOPark. Be sure to register for CellOPark before driving to Curtin for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting around campus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Did you know that the Perth campus covers an impressive 116 hectares! Once you get to campus, you\u2019ll need to know where you are going, and where the closest facilities are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curtinlink:<\/a><\/strong> The new on-demand mini-bus service will allow you to book a free ride in the\u00a0curtinlink\u00a0app to get you around campus whenever it suits you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Find key locations<\/strong><\/a>: The campus map displays your classrooms, nearest toilets, end-of-trip facilities, cafes and more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attend a student services tour<\/a>:<\/strong> Join a current student volunteer for a tour of Curtin Student Services and hear their tips on the best hang out and study areas around campus. You\u2019ll find more information on tour times in your Personalised Orientation Planner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n \n
