Will they click instantly, or will it be total chaos?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, the new season of the <strong>Curtin Life Original Series: <em>I\u2019m at Curtin, Now What?<\/em><\/strong> is about to put that to the test! This year\u2019s fresh faces are ready to take on challenges, bring you to new places, and answer the question every new student asks in their first weeks of uni: <em>I\u2019m at Curtin, now what?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With four bold, charismatic personalities, this season promises plenty of laughs, surprises and maybe even a little friendly rivalry? Aakanksha is ready to take centre stage. \u201cI want all the attention on me when I\u2019m singing,\u201d she says, fully embracing her inner star. A stage, a mic, and a killer performance? It\u2019s the dream, and she\u2019s making it happen.<\/p><p><strong>Fave Curtin Hangout:<\/strong> The Yarning Circle at the oval is a peaceful escape where she can unwind, reflect, and steal a quiet moment away from the bustle of uni life. Fresh air, good vibes, and maybe a snack. Sounds like perfection.<\/p><p><strong>Random Fact:<\/strong> Don\u2019t be fooled by her sweet side. She\u2019s a brown belt in karate! He still wants to have fun, but he also wants to make his family proud by hitting that Distinction average. \u201cNot just for my parents or siblings, but my grandparents too,\u201d he says. After an exciting first year full of good times, he\u2019s ready to lock in and prove he can do it all.<\/p><p><strong>Fave Curtin Hangout:<\/strong> While he loves studying at his accommodation with friends, the library is his go-to spot. \u201cIf I need a break, I just head to the open area with the bean bags and relax,\u201d he says. It\u2019s the perfect place to focus when needed and chill when needed.<\/p><p><strong>Random Fact:<\/strong> He&#8217;s still thinking on this one. Sometimes the most interesting facts are the hardest to remember. <\/p><p><strong>Words to Live By:<\/strong> \u201cTake it one step at a time, but do things for yourself.\u201d For Musa, uni isn\u2019t just about grades. It\u2019s part of who she is. \u201cBack home in the Philippines, I volunteered a lot. It\u2019s something I truly love,\u201d she says. After missing out on opportunities in her first year, she\u2019s determined to give back this year. It\u2019s time to make a difference again.<\/p><p><strong>Fave Curtin Hangout:<\/strong> You\u2019ll almost always find her on Level Seven. Whether she\u2019s sprawled out on the bean bags, laughing with friends, or deep in study mode at the whiteboards, she loves the space. \u201cWe\u2019re probably the loudest group there,\u201d she admits with a laugh. A place to study, relax, and just enjoy good company. What more could you want?<\/p><p><strong>Random Fact:<\/strong> She\u2019s super sensitive to temperature. \u201cEven the tiniest blast of air-con gets to me. I\u2019m always the first to ask for a jacket,\u201d she says. Whether it\u2019s class, church, or a film shoot, she\u2019s always on the lookout for an extra layer.<\/p><p><strong>Words to Live By:<\/strong> \u201cThe person you should trust the most is yourself.\u201d As an international student, this quote holds deep meaning for Kristel. \u201cMoving to a new country, you don\u2019t always have familiar faces to rely on. I\u2019m going to sing with my guitar, but I also want to perform with a saxophone,\u201d he says. Superstar dreams don\u2019t wait. He\u2019s making them happen.<\/p><p><strong>Fave Curtin Hangout:<\/strong> That quiet open space near the library, just past the oval staircase.
