You&#8217;re invited to take part in <strong>four intensive, credit\u2011bearing challenge-based learning programs<\/strong> running across <strong>June and July 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How it works<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Each program runs for one intensive week, with students working in interdisciplinary teams to address a real-world challenge. Students <strong>earn 25 credit points<\/strong> for passing a challenge, and some students do two in the break.<\/p>\n\n\n<section\n                class=\"block block--no-indent cards \"\n        data-segment=\"all\">\n    \n<div class=\"block-heading\" data-segment=\"dom\">\n                                <h2 class=\"block-heading__title \" id=\"the-four-challenges\">The four challenges<\/h2>\n            \n                                <div class=\"block-heading__subtitle large\">\n                <p>More information on each challenge will be available after you submit an expression of interest.<\/p>\n\n            <\/div>\n            \n                        \n                            <\/div>\n        <div class=\"card-grid\"\n                  data-card-count=\"4\"\n         data-card-background=\"white\">\n                    <div id=\"global-futures-challenge\" class=\"card\"\n         data-type=\"\"><div class=\"inner\"><div class=\"card__title\"><h2 class=\"h2\">Global Futures Challenge<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"card__content\"><p><strong>When:<\/strong> 15 to 22 June 2026<\/p><p>Build global awareness and local action through interdisciplinary challenge-based learning.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>                    <div id=\"sustainability-challenge\" class=\"card\"\n         data-type=\"\"><div class=\"inner\"><div class=\"card__title\"><h2 class=\"h2\">Sustainability Challenge<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"card__content\"><p><strong>When:<\/strong> 22 to 29 June 2026<\/p><p>Work with industry to tackle real world sustainability challenges in creative and collaborative ways.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>                    <div id=\"reconciliaction-challenge\" class=\"card\"\n         data-type=\"\"><div class=\"inner\"><div class=\"card__title\"><h2 class=\"h2\">ReconciliAction Challenge<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"card__content\"><p><strong>When:<\/strong> 29 June to 6 July 2026<\/p><p>Engage with reconciliation in practice, working alongside community partners to support meaningful, respectful change.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>                    <div id=\"learning-futures-challenge\" class=\"card\"\n         data-type=\"\"><div class=\"inner\"><div class=\"card__title\"><h2 class=\"h2\">Learning Futures Challenge<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"card__content\"><p><strong>When:<\/strong> 6 to 13 July 2026<\/p><p>Reimagine the future of learning through creative, student-led solutions to contemporary education challenges.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>            <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why take part?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Earn 25 credit points per challenge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gain hands-on, real-world experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with industry and community partners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build career-ready skills and a strong portfolio<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make a positive impact on society<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Register your interest<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Any student who has already done a year of tertiary study,&nbsp;<strong>and who has the space in their study plan<\/strong> (this means an elective unit, or an optional\/core unit that your course coordinator can approve a unit substitution for) is invited to register your interest. The units are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all faculties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Places are limited.
