across Indonesia?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Indonesia Study Tour 2026<\/strong> is a unique opportunity for Curtin students interested in media, culture and communication to spend four weeks learning and working across Java.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From studying <strong>Bahasa Indonesia in Surabaya<\/strong> to visiting media organisations in <strong>Jakarta<\/strong>, the tour blends academic learning with real-world industry exposure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will also explore Indonesia\u2019s rich cultural history through experiences across Java, including visits to significant cultural sites and creative communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you\u2019ll gain from the program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>During the four-week study tour, you will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Study Indonesian language through immersive learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience Javanese culture, traditions and creative practices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visit leading Indonesian media organisations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with Indonesian students on communication projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop global perspectives for careers in creative industries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Students enrol in <strong>COMS3000 Study Tour<\/strong>, earning academic credit while gaining international experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Funded international experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The program is supported by <strong>Australia\u2019s New Colombo Plan<\/strong>, which provides approximately <strong>$4,000 in funding<\/strong> to support flights, accommodation, tuition and other study tour costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to apply<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for the program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Attend a <strong>Curtin Go Global information session<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit an <strong>Expression of Interest (EOI)<\/strong> by <strong>30 September 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Your EOI should include a <strong>200-word statement<\/strong> outlining why you want to join the study tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Send your
