{"id":4619,"date":"2009-09-07T07:01:10","date_gmt":"2009-09-06T23:01:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/applications-for-research-scholarships-are-now-open\/"},"modified":"2022-12-07T13:06:20","modified_gmt":"2022-12-07T05:06:20","slug":"applications-for-research-scholarships-are-now-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/applications-for-research-scholarships-are-now-open\/","title":{"rendered":"Research scholarships are now open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Applications are now open for the <a title=\"Link to information about APA scholarships\" href=\"http:\/\/scholarships.curtin.edu.au\/scholarship.cfm?id=3\">Australian Postgraduate Awards (APA)<\/a> and <a title=\"link to Cups information\" href=\"http:\/\/scholarships.curtin.edu.au\/scholarship.cfm?id=17\">Â鶹ֱ²¥ Postgraduate Scholarships (CUPS)<\/a>.\u00a0 Students with exceptional research potential, who are also planning to commence or currently enrolled in a Masters or Doctoral research degree at Curtin in any relevant area of study in 2010, are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n<p>All successful APA applicants will receive a Curtin Research Scholarships (CRS) providing an attractive total scholarship package of $30,000pa &#8211; tax free.\u00a0 All successful CUPS applicants will also receive a Curtin Research Scholarship (CRS) providing a total scholarship package of $25,000 pa &#8211; tax free.<\/p>\n<p>There is also the option to participate in sessional teaching at attractive rates of remuneration.<\/p>\n<p>Both scholarships provide a tax-free living allowance and a fee exemption for the duration of the degree.
