Curtin Department of Design<\/a> lecturer, Blair McLeish, congratulated the graduates on taking out the top three places.<\/p>\n“Award School is highly regarded by the advertising industry as a crucial stepping stone for people who want to become a copywriter or art director,” Mr McLeish said.<\/p>\n
“I encourage all my students and graduates to try out for it.”<\/p>\n
Twenty-three-year-old Mr Newton, of Claremont, said he enjoyed the experience.<\/p>\n
“I loved working alongside some of the best students in the industry and learning from top experts, and I\u2019m excited to see where it takes me,” he said.<\/p>\n
Mr Newton graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Mass Communication) with streams in Advertising and Film and Television – Corporate Production in 2005.\u00a0 He currently works in marketing.<\/p>\n
Miss Glenister\u2019s efforts have paid off as she was offered a promotion to her dream job.<\/p>\n
“I started work at The Brand Agency as Creative Coordinator in May 2008, and have now been made Art Director which is fantastic,” said Miss Glenister, 27, of City Beach.<\/p>\n
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Creative Advertising Design in 2006.<\/p>\n
Mr Seddon graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Creative Advertising in 2005 and works as a motion director for LaVish Channel.<\/p>\n
