enabling course applications open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Indigenous students who are not yet qualified to enter tertiary study can fix that by enrolling the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/courses.curtin.edu.au\/course_overview\/undergraduate\/Indigenous-enabling\">Indigenous Tertiary Enabling Course<\/a><\/strong> which is accepting applications until July 7.<\/p>\n<p>The course equips students with the skills, qualifications and confidence needed to succeed in an undergraduate course at Curtin.<\/p>\n<p>Students become immersed in the university environment while they prepare for mainstream tertiary study.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/13\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/Indigenous-enabling-course.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-8304 alignright\" title=\"Indigenous enabling course\" src=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/13\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/Indigenous-enabling-course-300x146.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"146\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The course provides students with support, knowledge and skills while promoting a strong sense of Aboriginality.<\/p>\n<p>Students undertake units in indigenous studies, numeracy, communications and a choice of either humanities, science or arts subjects.<\/p>\n<p>On successful completion, students become eligible for entry into a range of Curtin&#8217;s degree and associate degree
