Westlink is a shipping logistics company with offices in Perth and Singapore. They have contracts within the mining and oil and gas industries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you like best about your role?<\/strong> I have only been at Â鶹ֱ²¥ for three weeks and so far everyone has been very welcoming within the team at the School of Public Health. I look forward to working with and getting to know everyone better over time. It\u2019s a varied role which is great, as no day is the same!<\/p>\n<p><strong>First job?<\/strong> Worked in a supermarket when I was 16 to pay for a trip to America!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Worst job?<\/strong> Working on my family\u2019s vineyard!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your favourite place in the world and why?<\/strong> A very close call between the Caribbean and Italy \u2013 Amalfi Coast. The most beautiful waters around the islands of the Caribbean and the Amalfi Coast. A lot of history and beautiful landscapes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your favourite cuisine and why?<\/strong> Mexican and Italian! Love all the different flavours and the antipasto options.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the best piece of advice you have received? <\/strong>\u2018Have no regrets\u2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tell us something about yourself that your colleagues wouldn\u2019t know?\u00a0<\/strong>I used to swim professionally at State level in Victoria and I have swum against some now former Olympians. Therefore, I do love to try and keep fairly fit and healthy.<\/p>\n<p>I have done a lot of travelling over the past 15 years, spending 3 years living and working in London.
