This will cause some outages to the Curtin network environment and IT services will not be available in the following buildings:<\/p>\n<p>Date: Saturday 24 August 2019<br \/>\nTime: 6am to 6pm<br \/>\nBuildings: 200A, 200B, 202, 208 &amp; 209 \u2013 all levels.<\/p>\n<p>Date: Sunday 25 August 2019<br \/>\nTime: 6am to 6pm<br \/>\nBuildings:\u00a0401 &amp; 402 \u2013 all levels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What services will be impacted?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Internet access<\/li>\n<li>Shared drive access<\/li>\n<li>Printing functionality<\/li>\n<li>Network connectivity<\/li>\n<li>Telephony (desk phones)<\/li>\n<li>EFTPOS<\/li>\n<li>Wireless connectivity (indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi in the area)<\/li>\n<li>Fire monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Security devices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What do I need to do?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you planned to work in one of the above buildings, you&#8217;ll need to make alternative arrangements. Here are some options to consider if you&#8217;re impacted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work from another building that is not affected by the outage<\/li>\n<li>Work from home using a Curtin laptop (if available) and Curtin&#8217;s VPN.
