Nominations are now open!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Nominations are now open for next year\u2019s Guild Council and delegates to the National Union of Students Conference (NUS).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Guild representatives play an important role in representing and advocating for students. It\u2019s an important role in making sure everyone\u2019s voice is heard on campus.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re considering nominating, or would like to discuss the elections, you\u2019ll need to make an appointment to speak with The Returning Officer Mr Peter Zaikos by calling 0459 919 900 or emailing <a href=\"mailto:ro.curtin@bigpond.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ro.curtin@bigpond.com.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Nomination application deadlines close on Friday 29 August 2019. Head to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guild.curtin.edu.au\/elections2019\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Guild website<\/a> for more information about this year\u2019s Guild Elections and to download a nomination form.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When can students vote? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students will be able to vote for their Guild Representative when polling booths open on Monday 16 September 2019 at 10am and close on Thursday 19 September 2019 at 4pm.<\/p>\n<p>These positions are representatives for you, that&#8217;s why it&#8217;s so important that you get on-board and vote!
