{"id":7756,"date":"2019-10-22T05:28:36","date_gmt":"2019-10-21T21:28:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/help-improve-curtins-desktop-audio-visual-av-and-collaboration-experience\/"},"modified":"2022-12-07T13:09:38","modified_gmt":"2022-12-07T05:09:38","slug":"help-improve-curtins-desktop-audio-visual-av-and-collaboration-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/help-improve-curtins-desktop-audio-visual-av-and-collaboration-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"Help improve Curtin\u2019s desktop, audio visual (AV) and collaboration experience"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the key goals of Curtin\u2019s IT Strategy is to enable a better user experience for students and staff.<\/p>\n<p>A number of concerns in key technology areas have been identified, which need to be further explored in order to support this goal:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reliability of AV equipment;<\/li>\n<li>Availability of collaboration tools; and<\/li>\n<li>Usability of Curtin desktops and laptops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A series of half day workshops have been set up to give students the opportunity to provide their feedback and for Digital &amp; Technology Solutions to gain a deeper understanding of the needs and issues around desktop, AV and collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>There are 4 timeslots available to try and accommodate busy schedules.
