We will be gradually updating these resources and this may take some time to finalise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s new?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartraveller.gov.au\/consular-services\/subscribe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Simplified subscription:<\/a>\u00a0just supply your name and email address and you&#8217;ll receive updates straight to your inbox.<\/li>\n<li>New SMS subscription service: sign up to receive critical alerts via SMS in the event of a crisis overseas.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartraveller.gov.au\/destinations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Improved travel advice<\/a> for 177 travel destinations: access travel advisories from any device, at any time, with the ability to download and print.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Contacting Smartraveller for help in a crisis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the event of a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartraveller.gov.au\/consular-services\/crises\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">crisis<\/a>, Smartraveller will activate a\u00a0crisis page\u00a0on their website. It will make it easier for you or someone you know to contact them if you need help. It will supplement the consular emergency centre hotline.
