Â鶹ֱ²¥ certifies Sallie Mae loans explicitly for tuition fees only.<\/p>\n<p>If you are successful in obtaining a private loan, Â鶹ֱ²¥ will normally receive two cheques over the course of 12 months or the period of enrolment up to 12 months for each loan. The cheque is made co-payable to you and the University, and so Curtin will contact you once each cheque arrives to\u00a0organise\u00a0the deposit of the cheque.<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you make any changes to your enrolment, such as a leave of absence or course withdrawal,\u00a0you must email\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:financialaid@curtin.edu.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">financialaid@curtin.edu.au<\/a>\u00a0to advise so that the necessary reporting adjustments can be made to your loan.<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Deferring loans<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:40,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Â鶹ֱ²¥ can approve deferments for students who have already received US Federal Student Loans. If you have in the past received a US federal student loan and you are enrolled at Â鶹ֱ²¥ on at least a part-time basis, you can apply to defer repayment of those loans.
