Curtin therefore expects Staff, Students and Visitors to take appropriate steps to protect their personal property i.e. handbags, wallets, keys, Curtin access swipe cards, jewellery and portable electronic equipment, etc, while on campus.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, if you use the University car parks, you do so at your own risk. Your vehicle must be secured and if you choose to leave personal items in your vehicle, they should not be left on display. Curtin does not accept liability for damage or theft of motor vehicles or bicycles, or personal property therein, while parked on University land.<\/p>\n<p>In the event of loss or theft of a personal item from University land, report the loss or theft to\u00a0Curtin Security, and\u00a0Police. In particular, if a security access swipe card has been lost or stolen, immediately advise\u00a0Curtin Security\u00a0in order to secure the particular area you have access to.<\/p>\n\n        \n                            \n                    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n                    <div class=\"accordion\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-title-Are-students-covered-for-accidents-on-campus?\">\n and\/or Private Health Insurance, and if the Student is a member of the Guild there may be cover under the Guild\u2019s Personal Accident Insurance.<\/p>\n\n        \n                            \n Policies and Procedures related to their Fieldwork, and has appropriate approval via the Online Fieldwork Risk Assessment.<\/p>\n<p>Note: There are time limitations with respect to coverage under the Curtin Travel Insurance Policy, and also direct exclusions for Private Travel Insurance, that may be added onto Curtin approved travel.<\/p>\n\n        \n                            \n under the Student Personal Accident Insurance, Public Liability Insurance, and others as required is in place, provided the Student has complied with all internal Curtin Policies and Procedures related to their Fieldwork, and has appropriate approval via the Online Fieldwork Risk Assessment.<\/p>\n\n        \n                            \n                    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <p>The Curtin owned vehicle is automatically covered under Curtin\u2019s Motor Fleet Insurance.<\/p>\n<p>Any Student (or Staff) who use Curtin owned vehicle\u2019s should hold a current motor vehicle license, for the class of vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Approval from the relevant Head of School\/Department must be given before a student is allowed to drive a Curtin vehicle in line with the University Fleet Procedures available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.curtin.edu.au\/findapolicy\/index.html\">Compliance, Legislation &amp; Policy website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n        \n                            \n                    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n                    <div class=\"accordion\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-title-Is-there-a-minimum-age-limit-for-students-to-be-able-to-drive-a-Curtin-owned-motor-vehicle?\">\n            <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion__heading\"
