For example, you are asked to demonstrate solidarity by completing LGBTQIA+ Training [levels 1,2 and 3], becoming an active member of the Ally Network, attending events like the annual Pride WA Pride Parade march, wearing an Ally lanyard, or placing rainbow Ally stickers on your stuff. These visible signs of support are simple and extremely effective.<\/p>\n<p>To find out which Curtin staff members are Allies, contact <a href=\"mailto:lgbtiq-training@curtin.edu.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lgbtiq-training@curtin.edu.au<\/a><\/p>\n\n                <\/div>\n                            <div role=\"tabpanel\"\n                     aria-labelledby=\"tab-dom-lgbtqia-awareness-training\"\n                     id=\"tabpanel-dom-lgbtqia-awareness-training\"\n                     class=\"content tab-content--desktop\">\n                    <h3 class=\"h2\">LGBTQIA+ Awareness Training<\/h3>\n                    <p>LGBTQIA+ ALLY Training is designed to raise awareness and understanding of contemporary challenges and barriers faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTQIA+) people.<\/p>\n<p>The training has a theoretical base, with historical and local context and understanding of emerging trends. The Level 1 session provides publications, case studies and scenarios to engage conversation and critical thinking around topics covered.<\/p>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve completed the Level 1 training, you\u2019ll be invited to join the Curtin Ally Network.\u202fYou\u2019ll receive ongoing support and access to learning resources, Ally Network email updates, and invitations to network events.<\/p>\n<p>You may also wish to complete LGBTQIA+ ALLY Level 2 [Extending ALLYship and Understanding Diverse Sex, Sexuality and Gender] as well as LGBTQIA+ ALLY Level 3 [ALLY touchpoint] Creating local area champions for high level advocacy and support.<\/p>\n\n                <\/div>\n                        <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/mimas-block>\n\n<mimas-block full-width=\"black\" \n             block-name=\"banner-cta\" role=\"complementary\" aria-label=\"Banner CTA\"\n             data-segment=\"all\">\n\n        \n<div class=\"block-heading\"\n     data-segment=\"dom\"\n     data-style=\"black\"\n     data-align=\"default\"\n>\n\n                                <h2 class=\"block-heading__title h3\" id=\"want-to-sign-up\">Want to sign up?<\/h2>\n            \n                        \n                                <div class=\"block-heading__content\"><p>Becoming a Curtin Ally is easy.
