You can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enhance your knowledge and understanding of subject matter.<\/li>\n<li>Develop your communication, public speaking, leadership and teamwork skills.<\/li>\n<li>Network with Curtin staff.<\/li>\n<li>Develop self-reflective skills that will help you professionally, personally and academically.<\/li>\n<li>Share your enthusiasm for your subject.<\/li>\n<li>Become a skilled student-centred facilitator.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to a committed, supportive and proudly diverse team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Past facilitators have commented on how their experience as a facilitator helped them get a job with their employer of choice after graduation.<\/p>\n\n        \n                            \n                    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n                    <div class=\"accordion\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-title-What-do-we-look-for-in-a-Peer-Learning-Facilitator?\">\n            <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion__heading\" aria-controls=\"What-do-we-look-for-in-a-Peer-Learning-Facilitator?\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n            <div class=\"title\" id=\"accordion-title-What-do-we-look-for-in-a-Peer-Learning-Facilitator?\">What do we look for in a Peer Learning Facilitator?<\/div>\n            <div class=\"icon\"><\/div>\n        <\/button>\n        <div class=\"accordion__content\" id=\"What-do-we-look-for-in-a-Peer-Learning-Facilitator?\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <ul>\n<li>Current, undergraduate students with a CWA and relevant UniPASS unit grade of 70 or above.<\/li>\n<li>A supportive, enthusiastic nature.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to avoid being the focus in sessions, to facilitate learning rather than being a teacher.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness\u00a0to challenge yourself, be self-reflective and give and receive constructive criticism.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible\u00a0with which units you might be employed to facilitate sessions in.<\/li>\n<li>Availability to attend face to face training the week prior to Orientation, and plan and facilitate at least one, but preferably two, UniPASS sessions (one or two hours each) for 11 to 12 weeks of the semester.<\/li>\n<li>Availability to attend week one lectures (and other weeks where necessary) to promote the program and attend ad-hoc meetings with staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n        \n                            \n                    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n                    <div class=\"accordion\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-title-How-do-you-apply?\">\n            <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion__heading\" aria-controls=\"How-do-you-apply?\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n            <div class=\"title\" id=\"accordion-title-How-do-you-apply?\">How do you apply?<\/div>\n            <div class=\"icon\"><\/div>\n        <\/button>\n        <div class=\"accordion__content\" id=\"How-do-you-apply?\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <p>We recruit for semester 1 each year, commencing around September the previous year. The process is managed by Curtin Careers&#8217; Earn While You Learn program.<\/p>\n<p>To express your interest for the 2025 round of applications, complete and submit the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fusiontestcampaign-recruitcurtin.pushapply.com\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Earn While You Learn Talent Pool application form<\/a>. You will be contacted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/personal-support\/career-advice\/search\/earn-while-you-learn\/\">Earn While You Learn (EWYL)<\/a>\u00a0team when recruitment commences.<\/p>\n<p>Our recruitment process involves a written application, with shortlisted applicants undertaking a group interview. As per any Curtin staff position, an identity check and police clearance is required at the applicant&#8217;s own cost.<\/p>\n<p>UniPASS is funded by the Student Services and Amenities Fee and relies on unit availability, hence the casual nature of the role as we cannot guarantee employment year to year.<\/p>\n\n        \n                            \n                    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n
