As such you may be entitled to take l<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW63024114\" xml:lang=\"EN-AU\" lang=\"EN-AU\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW63024114\">eave of a<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW63024114\" xml:lang=\"EN-AU\" lang=\"EN-AU\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW63024114\">bsence from your course.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW63024114\" xml:lang=\"EN-AU\" lang=\"EN-AU\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW63024114\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW63024114\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you have not yet&nbsp;commenced your undergraduate&nbsp;course&nbsp;you&nbsp;may request to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/askcurtinfaq.custhelp.com\/app\/answers\/detail\/a_id\/1340\" rel=\"noopener\">defer your offer<\/a> via&nbsp;eStudent&nbsp;&gt; My Offers in OASIS.<\/li>\n<li>If you have commenced or you are studying a postgraduate course you may apply for a leave of absence (LoA).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Before applying for a&nbsp;leave of absence&nbsp;we recommend you speak with a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/personal-support\/counselling-wellbeing\/wellbeing\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Wellbeing Advisor<\/a>&nbsp;to&nbsp;discuss your options.<\/p>\n<p>To apply for a leave of absence (LoA) you will need to follow the appropriate process.<\/p>\n\n\n<mimas-block \n        block-name=\"accordion\"\n        role=\"complementary\"\n        aria-label=\"Accordion content\"\n        data-segment=\"all\">\n\n                \n\n                    <div class=\"accordion\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-title-Perth-based-students-(on-campus-or-online)\">\n            <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion__heading\" aria-controls=\"Perth-based-students-(on-campus-or-online)\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n            <div class=\"title\" id=\"accordion-title-Perth-based-students-(on-campus-or-online)\">Perth-based students (on campus or online)<\/div>\n            <div class=\"icon\"><\/div>\n        <\/button>\n        <div class=\"accordion__content\" id=\"Perth-based-students-(on-campus-or-online)\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <div class=\"accordion__item__content\">\n<p>Undergraduate and postgraduate students studying on campus in Western Australia, or online in a WA-based course should complete an online <a href=\"https:\/\/curtin.t1cloud.com\/T1Default\/CiAnywhere\/Web\/CURTIN\/Forms\/FillOut?formDef=83f3af62efe4b958af1fe4320f030501&amp;suite=CES\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leave of Absence application<\/a> prior to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/essentials\/academic-calendar\/\" rel=\"noopener\">withdrawal deadline<\/a> for the enrolled study period.
