You will be using a number of integrated educational software delivery services, including\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackboard.com\/learning-management-system\/blackboard-learn.aspx\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Blackboard Learn<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackboard.com\/online-collaborative-learning\/index.aspx\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Blackboard Collaborate Ultra<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"wysiwyg-color-black\">Hardware Requirements<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Windows PC\" href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-au\/windows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Windows PC<\/a>\u00a0(7 or higher) or\u00a0<a title=\"Macintosh OS X\" href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/macos\/monterey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Macintosh OS X<\/a>\u00a0(10.10 or higher)<\/li>\n<li>4GB RAM\u00a0\u00a0(8<em>GB RAM or more is highly recommended<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>20GB of available hard-drive space<\/li>\n<li>Screen resolution set to 1280 x 1024<\/li>\n<li>Broadband\/high-speed uninterrupted Internet access<\/li>\n<li>Webcam,\u00a0microphone and speakers (a\u00a0<em>wearable headset is highly recommended<\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"wysiwyg-color-black\">Browser Compatibility<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>It is\u00a0very important\u00a0that you use a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/help.blackboard.com\/Learn\/Student\/Getting_Started\/Browser_Support\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">supported browser<\/a> when using Blackboard Learn so that all unit content and the unit tools display properly. The very latest editions of <a title=\"Mozilla FireFox\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/en-GB\/firefox\/new\/?redirect_source=firefox-com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mozilla FireFox<\/a>,\u00a0<a title=\"Apple Safari\" href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/safari\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Apple Safari<\/a>, and\u00a0<a title=\"Google Chrome\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/chrome\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Chrome<\/a>\u00a0should work fine on most devices (<em>we do\u00a0<span class=\"wysiwyg-underline\">not\u00a0<\/span>recommend using\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/edge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Microsoft Edge,<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a title=\"Microsoft Internet Explorer\" href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-au\/windows\/internet-explorer-downloads-d49e1f0d-571c-9a7b-d97e-be248806ca70\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Microsoft Internet Explorer<\/a>\u00a0is not a supported browser<\/em>). We recommend installing multiple browsers for use with Curtin technologies.<\/p>\n<p>Should you experience an error message, please try using a different browser to see if you experience the same results.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"wysiwyg-color-black\">Browser Plug-ins<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>At times, you may be required to view and listen to instructional content within your course which will require additional software to be installed. For example, your instructor may upload an audio file for you to listen to, or post a video clip for you to watch. The browser you currently use to access Blackboard Learn may not always have the required software (plug-in) installed to properly view or play such files. To run a quick browser test, <a title=\"Browser Check\" href=\"https:\/\/help.blackboard.com\/Learn\/Student\/Getting_Started\/Browser_Support\/Browser_Checker\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">use Blackboard&#8217;s Browser Checker<\/a>\u00a0to ensure that your browser has the most commonly used plug-ins already installed.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"wysiwyg-color-black\">Additional Browser Configuration Considerations<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The latest version of<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><a title=\"Java\" <strong>Home<\/strong> page\/tab and on the <strong>My Units<\/strong> module, hover then click the gear icon in the top right corner.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Group by Term<\/strong> check box allows you to group your units by each semester\/term. The units will be categorized by their respective semesters\/terms.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Edit Course List<\/strong> you can manually set which units will be displayed, what information will be displayed for each unit, and what order the units are in.<\/li>\n<li>Once you have finished, click\u00a0<strong>Submit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>The unit does not have an online component<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Not all units have an online component. Check your Unit Outline to confirm whether your unit should appear in Blackboard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The unit has not been made available<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Units are usually made available in Blackboard 7 days prior to the first day of the study period. However, your Lecturer may choose a different start date. If you have concerns that you are unable to see your Unit, please\u00a0<a title=\"Opens in a new window\" href=\"https:\/\/search.curtin.edu.au\/s\/search.html?collection=curtin-university&amp;form=staff&amp;clive=curtin-staff\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">contact your lecturer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your enrolment details are incorrect<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are incorrectly enrolled in a unit, you will not see the unit in Blackboard. To check your current enrolment:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open eStudent (click on the\u00a0eStudent button\u00a0on the\u00a0<strong>My Studies<\/strong>\u00a0tab in OASIS).<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0Enrolment &amp; Study Plans\u00a0in the left hand menu.
