By connecting with donors, the Science and Engineering Advancement team supports countless life-changing scholarships that are delivered to students every year.

We are eager to engage with people who are passionate about education and motivated to make a difference by contributing their time, expertise and/or financial support to strengthen the faculty’s Learning and Teaching initiatives.

Our STEM Outreach programs are initiatives that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and create pathways into STEM. From school partnerships to holiday programs and community events, we’re making STEM accessible and exciting for everyone.

Our Academics undertake research that responds to real world challenges – from protecting Australian biodiversity to developing sustainable building materials, advancing rare earths research, and supporting food security.

Student Clubs at Curtin provide a great way for students to learn while connecting with one another. By supporting these clubs to achieve long-term self-sustainability, we ensure that students can explore and thrive in extracurricular activities.

Part of our Alumni Networks and Chapters, the WA School of Mines Alumni Association (WASMA) is comprised of deeply engaged Alumni who are keen to ensure that WASM remains a world-class mining school.

Come join us on a 2-day workshop at the Curtin Medical School (Building 410), Room 428, at a discounted rate of $150 for alumni. Over two days apart (day 1: Friday, 8 May; day 2: Friday 15 May), from 9.30am to 4pm, you’ll get hands-on experience on best practices in mental health.

Please note: Attendance is required on both days, in order to successfully complete the workshop and receive your Mental Health First Aid certification.
