John Curtin Gallery will be screening the 2017 documentary WHITELEY alongside our exhibition Brett Whiteley: Inside the Studio.
WHITELEY is a visual journey into the private life and creative legacy of Australia鈥檚 most iconic artist, Brett Whiteley, told 鈥渋n his own words鈥� using personal letters, notebooks and photographs, interwoven with reconstructions, animations, archival interviews and rare footage.
The exhibition offers audiences around Australia a fascinating insight into the studio practice of one of Australia鈥檚 most gifted and revered artists, Brett Whiteley (1939鈥�92).聽
Screenings will be held in the Bankwest Theatre, every Sunday 2pm commencing 17 November, continuing until 15 December.
Runtime: 90 minutes
The documentary is directed by James Bogle and produced by Sue Clothier.聽
