Each year Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Library develops an annual plan of initiatives in alignment with the University’s Strategic Plan and the Library’s Strategic Direction.
In 2023, we will be working on the following projects:
Partnerships
- Activate new Library spaces, including launching a Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Library alternative reality game.
- Establish a strategic direction for Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Library to engage with Indigenous perspectives and proactively support reconciliation.
- Extend support for regional students, including at Kalgoorlie, and engagement with global campuses.
- Align our students as partners engagement with the university’s framework and implement a Library-wide approach.
- Develop a framework for the Library’s engagement with university and community stakeholders.
People
- Develop a proactive and self-reflective approach to professional development, encouraging engagement with work design and job crafting.
- Optimise clients’ experience of finding Library resources.
- Establish a community of practice for staff who would like to conduct research projects related to their work.
Planet
- Contribute to the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic inclusive student experience strategy.
- Facilitate increased digital access to learning resources to enhance an equitable and global student experience.
- Actively promote opportunities for Open Access publishing for research and learning.
- Lead the development of Open Access and Open Education Resources policies for the university.
- Produce a roadmap for the future of research output management, including research data publication and sharing.
