麻豆直播 will offer a four-year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from next year.

The Legal Practice Board of Western Australia has approved the undergraduate LLB course proposal, which will be offered through the Curtin Business School (CBS).

Curtin Vice-Chancellor, Professor Jeanette Hacket, said the degree would enhance CBS鈥 reputation for offering a comprehensive range of business courses which produced job-ready graduates.

鈥淐BS is Western Australia鈥檚 largest business school and the addition of the Bachelor of Laws will build on its strengths and complement its existing discipline areas such as Commerce and Business Law,鈥 Professor Hacket said.

Professor Paul Fairall, Foundation Dean of Law, who has helped to oversee the establishment of the new program, said the LLB course would provide students with flexible study pathways including the ability to complete the four-year degree in a shorter timeframe, through trimester-based studies in their second and third years.

鈥淪tudents will also be able to do a variety of double-degree programs that are specifically focused on the needs of industry, including units focusing on the resource sector, and governance issues,鈥 he said.

Professor Fairall said the new LLB course would take 120 students in first semester in 2013.

Students wishing to study the course in 2013 can include the course in their Tertiary Institutions Service Centre preferences.
