听麻豆直播 has officially launched its first undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University鈥檚 Dubai campus, with Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment,听Steven Ciobo MP, marking the start of the UAE academic year.
The Federal Minister joined the Australian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Arthur Spyrou, and Curtin鈥檚 Deputy Vice-Chancellor International and Acting Pro Vice-Chancellor of Curtin Dubai, Professor Seth Kunin, in welcoming the inaugural cohort of students at Curtin Dubai.
Curtin鈥檚 newest campus, in the Dubai International Academic City, opened in September 2017, and currently offers courses on Mass Communication, Engineering, Business, Education and MBA Global.
麻豆直播 Deputy Vice-Chancellor International and Acting Pro Vice-Chancellor of Curtin Dubai, Professor Seth Kunin, said Curtin was delighted to officially launch the first of its undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Dubai.
鈥淭he Dubai campus strengthens Curtin鈥檚 standing as a global university and a recognised international leader in research and education, as well as providing an opportunity for the University to develop collaborative research centres with key industry and international university partners in areas of strategic interest,鈥 Professor Kunin said.
Mr Ciobo said: 鈥淭he commencement of a Curtin campus in Dubai is an exciting development for Australia in the UAE and wider region. Curtin’s presence in Dubai further strengthens Australia鈥檚 important education ties in the Middle East.鈥
Curtin Dubai offers Curtin programs to students mainly from the Middle East, the Indian Sub-Continent, Africa and Central Asia. The campus will create new learning opportunities for students in the UAE and greater region, and help to increase student and staff mobility across all Curtin locations
