Digital & Technology Solutions has implemented听guest access for听students in听惭厂听Teams,听别苍补产濒颈苍驳听another option for听辞苍濒颈苍别听肠辞濒濒补产辞谤补迟颈辞苍听between staff and students.听听
Students can now听participate in chats, calls and meetings, where they have been invited by a Curtin staff member.听This feature also allows access to听accept听remote assistance,听by sharing your听computer screen听with a staff member.听
Currently,听access is limited听to students听as a听guest听within听MS Teams.听Students听do not听have听MS Teams听accounts.听听
How does it work?听
Meetings听
When invited by a staff听member听to听participate in听a MS Teams meeting, you will receive an听email听to your听Curtin听email account with a link to join the meeting.听听
When听you听join,听you听will听be placed听in the lobby听of the meeting, until the host听(staff member)听is ready to听accept听you听into the meeting.听
Teams听
Similarly听to meetings,听you can also be added听as a guest听to听join听a听鈥榯eam鈥�, enabling you听to collaborate and share documents.听听When听added to a team听by a Curtin staff member, you will be听notified听by email听to your听Curtin email address.听
