Major overview
The Computational Science major introduces students to aspects modern computing. It covers fundamental programming and theoretical knowledge. Students are exposed to both theoretical and practical aspects of computing with an emphasis on the skills sought out by employers. The major introduces C and Java in the first year as the tools for learning core concepts such as object orientation and algorithms. Linux skills are taught throughout the course. Fundamental aspects of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science and Cyber Security are included in the major.Detailed course structure and unit information
